TC 310, Day 17, Tuesday 25 November 2003 Final Two Assignments Professional Portfolio (assignment 9): A portfolio that provides evidence of your professional skills and serves to convince a reader that you are prepared to function as a professional. Implemented as a website containing 6 examples of your work, from this term, annotations of that work, and an overarching professional statement. Learning Portfolio (assignment 10): A portfolio that provides evidence of your learning in the TC310. Implemented as an “E-portfolio” with five pages (one for each learning objective and one “wildcard”).

TC 310, Day 17, Tuesday 25 November 2003 Audience Analysis - Personas General Dimensions –Goals: What would be his/her goal in interacting with the professional portfolio? Implications? –Knowledge: What types of knowledge does he/she bring (and not bring)? –Circumstances of Use: Under what circumstance might he/she explore the professional portfolio? Implications? Persona – “A persona is a profile of an archetypal user synthesized from a series of interviews with real people. It includes a name, a social history, and a set of goals that drive the developer’s design of the product or website.” (Perfetti, in Intercom, Nov 2002, p. 35)
