Lord, you know that I love you

I HAVE SEEN THE LORD The crucified Christ inspires us how to behave when confronted with any sort of persecution. "When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten; but he trusted to him who judges justly" (1 Pt 2, 23).

God's word gives us a lot of courage in our Daily ordeals. "If God is for us, who is against us...? Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” (Rom 8, 31.35).

“Rabboni!” “Go to my brothers and tell them…”

NEW LIFE Let us rest assured of Jesus' greatest promise for all times: "I am with you always, to the close of the age" (Matt 28, 20).

The Lord is the stronghold of my life. Whom shall I fear? In times of great trials let us remember with great hope and confidence St Paul's exhortation in his letter to the Philippians: "I can do all things in him who strengthens me" (Phil 4, 13).

“Why are you alarmed? Why are these doubts coming up in your mind? Look at my hands and feet. See that it is I myself. Feel me, and you will know…”

I bow down in all humility in front of these wounded people and say, “My Lord and my God” I hope and pray that the Lord may increase my faith and love.

But even His death did not satisfy His jealous enemies. To ensure that His followers couldn't steal His body and claim He'd come back to life, they placed a huge stone over the entrance of His tomb and posted a group of Roman soldiers there to guard it. This was a scheme that proved futile, however, as these same guards became eyewitnesses to the greatest miracle of all.
