THESE PHOTOS WERE TAKEN THREE DAYS AFTER HURRICANE IVAN AFFECTED JAMAICA. THE PHOTOS ARE OF THE HOPE RIVER AT GORDON TOWN AND AT TAVERN. NOTE THE HOUSING SOLUTIONS. NOTE THE BRIDGE THAT WAS PARTIALLY WASHED AWAY. NOTE THE EROSION. CONSIDER THE DAMAGE INFLICTED.

HOPE RIVER bed: look closely, at the houses.

THE HOPE RIVER, upstream in the hills of Gordon Town

Gordon Town, Hope River, three days after Hurricane Ivan.

TAVERN: bridge over Hope River --- partially washed away

The Volume and Force of water destroyed part of this bridge. Were there other factors involved?

These openings were blocked by debris.
