Problem: 1.5 billion tons of MSW Solution: MSW gasification Purpose of this Research: Optimize syngas production and char burn out

Main Results Area 3: petrochemical degradation Area 4: boudouard reaction (CO 2 + C 2CO) Area 1: water volatilizatio n Area 2: biomass degradation

Conclusion CO 2 enhances char burnout - cost and environment > solid ash reduction > syngas enhancement > CO 2 recycling
