My Trips to Guinea, West Africa

I went to Guinea, West Africa two times: in 1997 and 2000.

Guinea is a small country on the coast of West Africa.

The official language of Guinea is French.

There are many national languages, including Susu, Malinke, and Fula

The main reason for my trips to Guinea was to study the music and dance.

My main teachers are from Les Ballets Africains de Guinea. Here is a sample of their music

The Food in Guinea was amazing!

Besides my birthplace of Jamaica, West Indies, Guinea is my home away from home.
