Analysis Meeting 14Nov 05T. Burnett1 Classification, etc. status at UW New application to apply trees to existing tuple Background rejection for the v7r2 “500M” run at SLAC”: first look at v7r3.

Analysis Meeting 14Nov 05T. Analysis Meeting 14Nov 05T. Burnett3 Effect of boosting train_efficiency: single tree. Train on UW v7r2 background runs test_efficiency: after boosting 10 times, v2r2 SLAC v7r2 runs

Analysis Meeting 14Nov 05T. Burnett4 SLAC v7r2 “500M” livetime: Simply count the runs that have data. –Note: the number of events per run, or second, is less than the down-link rate (~550 Hz) due to the “prune”. –Above gives 8753 seconds

Analysis Meeting 14Nov 05T. Burnett5 Current status of UW background rejection Fails science requirement

Analysis Meeting 14Nov 05T. Burnett6 New “500 M” v3r3 run – 7516 s Fails science requirement

Analysis Meeting 14Nov 05T. Burnett7 Conclusions, plans The “500M” runs are enough to check science requirement out to ~30 GeV With Tracy, about to restore “IM” variables, when Bill finishes new trees. (Need to decide on names) Will retrain the boosted trees using v7r3, new variables Need to verify energy and psf cuts, start psf fits (just a button push for TB or Jim) When Riccardo gives us his trees, we can make 3-way comparison
