What did a diplodocus eat?  Ate most of the day  Teeth shaped like pegs  Ate plants next to the ground  It stripped leaves  Swallowed leaves whole

How did the diplodocus behave?  Traveled in herds  Used its whip like tail for defense  Herds helped protect from predators

Interesting Facts  Diplodocus did not lay eggs in nests. It laid eggs on the ground as it walked.  Diplodocus became extinct 145 million years ago
