Kindred Hearts Women of all ages are looking for women who are ahead of them in life’s experiences. Now more than ever, godly women should be reaching out, stepping out, and speaking out! A mentor program is an opportunity for women possessing faith and spiritual maturity to enter into a friendship with another woman in order to encourage and equip her to live for God’s glory!

Who can participate in this ministry? All women who regularly attend Northwest Church are encouraged to consider being part of this exciting ministry! If you desire godly guidance in your relationship with God, family, friends, and/or co-workers, this ministry is for you! As a mentor, you should have the desire to let your life be an example and godly role model.

Kindred Hearts What are the guidelines for this ministry? Be able to attend an Orientation Coffee and Kick-off Celebration Make at least a one year commitment Contact your match once a week, and meet no less than once a month Do things together, such as lunch, shop, Bible study, etc. Mentors are required to go through “Woman to Woman, Preparing Yourself to Mentor.”

Kindred Hearts What happens at an Orientation Coffee? You fill out a Kindred Hearts Profile card You get information about the ministry You meet other women, new and returning You hear testimony about successful mentor/mentee relationships You begin praying for the match that God has specifically planned for you!

Then what? The Kindred Hearts Board will meet to look over the Profile Cards, compare compatibility, pray over the cards, and then trust God to direct them to the ideal new friendships. You are then placed with your match in a small group, and your Kindred Hearts board member will be giving you a call. Plan on attending the Kick-off Celebration to meet your new match! What happens at the Kick-off Celebration? You will be given a half of a heart…your job is to find who has the other half that matches yours! Then the two of you will set up the day and time that you will be meeting
