Grading: 25% first exam 25% second exam 10% quiz 1 10% quiz 2 15% field trip 15% project

Quizzes: There are two quizzes - Quiz 1 (Jan 20) and Quiz 2 (Feb 24) The quizzes will be held in class at the regularly-scheduled time (1:30-2:20). Quizzes will include multiple-choice, matching, and true/false questions with an optional short essay question for extra credit. Scantron sheets will be provided for the exam but bring your own #2 pencils.

Exams: There are two exams - Exam 1 (Feb 8) and Exam 2 (Mar 11) The exams will be held in class at the regularly-scheduled time (1:30-2:20). Exams will include multiple-choice, matching, and true/false questions with a choice of 1 short essay question out of 2. Scantron sheets will be provided for the exam but bring your own #2 pencils.

Field trip: Each student will be required to attend one half-day field trip (TBA), and Answer questions handed out specifically for that field trip. A report answering these questions will be required within one week.

Project: Options: 1) Research paper 2) Journal of environmental news topics 3) Environmental Service Work
