The Partnership

A group of Maylands Businesses working with the Council & Other Agencies Formalised in September 2006 to drive regeneration and drive the ‘Master Plan’ for Maylands Business Park We support & represent the commercial interests of businesses on Maylands We meet monthly

Partnership Purpose To advance the economic well being of the Maylands area To promote & advance the regeneration of Maylands – Attract funding and investment To act as a consultation body on behalf of business for proposals relating to the Business Park To support & drive the delivery of the Master Plan Our goal is to help make: - Maylands Business Park ‘The Location of Choice for Business’

Achievements in the Past Year Superfast Broadband for 50% of the business park (so far!) £1.5m Maylands Urban Realm Funding secured LSTF delivery continued Funding secured through Herts SEP LEP to help deliver development sites in Started Maylands Growth Corridor transport project Continued oversight of the Maylands Business Centre Strong promotion of Maylands as a first class Business Residency

The Future The second phase of Spencers’ Park consisting of approximately 650 new homes. Proposals for the Gorhambury concept consisting of around 5000 new homes and 2 million sq ft of employment land. Further Maylands Physical Improvement Phases to be planned and implemented.
