GustiePoints CREATED BY JEREMY A. ROBINSON CULPEPER LANGUAGE LEARNING CENTER GUSTAVUS ADOLPHUS COLLEGE

1.Fill in the GustiePoints slides with the categories and questions you want to use in your class. 2.In class, create teams and write team names on the board. 3.Starting with the first team, each team selects a category and a GustiePoints number value.

The students in the group are polled using a remote polling device. 4. The students in the group are polled using a remote polling device. 5. If the majority of the group members get the answer correct, they gain the selected number of points, which are then written on the board. 6. If the Majority do not get the answer correct, the first team to raise their hand can “steal” the question.

7.After each question is asked the next team selects the next category and GustiePoints number value. And the game continues like this. 8. Once all the questions have been asked or time runs out, the team with the most points wins.
