It's hard to talk about 'Emo' music as followers of the bands' Emo 'are very reserved when talking about their music. They reject everything that is commercial. The U.S. group “My Chemical Romance” is the best representative of 'Emo style. The lyrics are almost always filled with pain, disgust and hatred.

Their personality has a lot to do with their look. For example, being extremely thin symbolises the life you want to take. This life is depressing, and filled with senseless suffering. The emos are tall. If one is low by stature, you should use platforms to be taller. They follow the rules of the community.

The hair hides half the face because they want to move from antisocial and don’t like to be seen. It also means that its existence is grim and sad. The 'Emo' live in constant depression because according to them, the world is miserable. The rooms have dim light and single beds.When they wake up every morning they remember the miserable life they live and will remain in a state of depression all day.

Their symbols are: skulls, broken hearts and pink stars. Their boyfriends or girlfriends have to be 'Emo'. The 'Emo' don’t believe in religions or any divinity.
