Analysis Meeting 8 Aug 05T. Burnett1 Status of UW classification and PSF fits Data selection Classification PSF

Analysis Meeting 8 Aug 05T. Burnett2 Data generation selection for PSF evaluation 5 M all-gamma using HEAD1.612, generated at the UW condor farm Energy range 18 MeV -18 GeV. Gleam “test_gleam executable, with options // =============== specialized generation ================================ #include "$GLEAMROOT/src/basicOptions.txt" // ================ overridden parameters for this job==================== // remove CalMipFinder Cal1.Members = { "CalXtalRecAlg", "CalClustersAlg/first","CalEventEnergyAlg/RawEnergy" }; Output.Members = {}; // turn off RootIo ouptut RoottupleSvc.filename = "tuple.root"; RootTupleSvc.RejectIfBad= true; // beware if false GlastRandomSvc.RunNumber= 101; FluxAlg.sources = {"all_gamma"}; // "all_gamma" for 18 GeV or "all_gamma_180GeV" ApplicationMgr.EvtMax = 10000; // number of events to generate MeritAlg.generated = 10000; // allows measure of Aeff TriggerAlg.mask = 2;

Analysis Meeting 8 Aug 05T. Burnett3 Classification: goodcal All code is in cvs; the classifier and GlastClassify packages –run directly from “MeritTuple” trees. –use facility to add CT vars to existing tuple Trees from SLAC runs of HEAD1.595 GoodCal  CTgoodCal –Three energy ranges: low: MeV med: MeV high: 3.5 GeV –also require CalTotRln>4.

Analysis Meeting 8 Aug 05T. Burnett4 Goodcal classification Only a few nodes get most of the way!
