Conclusions The population of women physicists in Argentina is definitely low, especially in high academic, research and decision-making positions. While on average 30% undergraduate and 26% graduate students are female, the percentage in higher positions decreases from 16 to 6 (academic) and from 30 to 7 (research) as the level increases. In addition between 10 and 13% projects in Physics have a female director and only 10 to 14% women are in decision-making positions. More statistics in We acknowledge the contribution of M. Gil, M.
