Goal –We combine different teaching materials such as songs, chant, story-telling, video-watching and games with audio equipments to make children learn in a joyful and relaxing atmosphere. Objectives Students learn vocabulary through reading, listening, writing and oral practices so that they can increase their vocabulary bank in a more efficient way. Students know the meanings, the written form and spoken form of the words.

Proposed Class Level: beginners~intermediate who already learn 26 letters and phonics Age: 8~12 years old Class size: 10 students Class Time: 40 minutes per class and two classes a week, totally 16 hours Language: both English and Chinese

Syllabus

Problems It’s hard to arrange the syllabus because our course contents will overlap; so we try to arrange the schedule based on the difficulties of each task. Students need to have computers available in their houses. We try to assess students’ achievement in vocabulary learning and it might cause some pressure on them.
