Paid Time Off Holidays – Residents and fellows may be expected to work on holidays. They do not receive comp time or pay. Programs establish individual policies concerning alternate time off or assigning holiday time. Personal Time – 3 days awared upon hire (pro-rated for part-time or late (after July 1) hires Vacation Time –Three weeks (pro-rated for part-time) awarded upon hire. –Must be used during the academic year. Sick Leave Bank Donate 16 hours (two days) Must be a member for 6 months prior to using the bank Must be on approved FMLA Must use all accrued time first 480 hours maximum (12 weeks) Requires Committee approval This provides the bridge until disability insurance kicks in.
