Explain – Facilitate student understanding by clarifying ideas, introducing vocabulary… 

4. Extend (Elaborate) - Facilitate students applying new ideas to new situations  توسع ( استطراد )- تسهيل تطبيق أفكار جديدة في ظروف جديدة. 5. Evaluate – Provide appropriate ways for students to show their new skills and knowledge.

The teacher engages the student by creating interest and curiosity through open-ended questions and connecting with the world beyond the classroom.

Students explore using tools and their senses and are provided hands-on opportunities for exploration.

Students use their questions الطلاب يستخدمون أسئلتهم:  explore to build understanding of scientific investigations.  للاستكشاف و بناء فهم علمي للبحث  communicate with peers and teachers to share their ideas  للتواصل مع رفاقهم ومعلميهم لمشاركة الأفكار.  analyze and interpret their data, and defend their results.

Students expand and deepen their understanding of the scientific concept and make connections to other disciplines or content areas.
