The Euro The most persons know Europe has got a new sort of money: The Euro. Most European countries pay with this new kind of money. It is far more handy, because you wont have to change your money into other money, when you go on holiday for instance. €

The official sign for Euro is: € Everybody understands better if the ammount is in the same sign. You can pay with the Euro since: The countries that pay with the Euro are: Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany,Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia and of course Spain.

Then and now Europe has changed a lot in a couple of years. We all know that the World War changed a lot on the map. We are going to show you now what Europe looked like a few years ago, and what it looks like now.

Europe then: The political situation in 1939: ██ The Entente ██ The Axis-powers ██ Sovjet-Union

As you can see Italy was still neutral in that part of the war. A lot of coutries were. At this point there was not much left of the European feeling. Europe was a dangerous place at that time, where you couldn’t be sure of a future.

Europe now:

All the countries are equal to each other. The European feeling is back. There aren’t any wars anymore, so you can feel safe now. There aren’t any political problems anymore, so Europe is now One. Can you feel it? The European feeling?

intervieuws we asked a couple of persons 3 questions about the European Feeling. The questions were: -Do you think Europe is One? -Are you happy with the Euro? -Do you want a multicultural Europe?

The answers to the questions were: Question 1:Question 2:Question 3: Person 1: Yes No Yes Person 2: Yes No No Person 3: Yes No Yes Person 4: No Yes Yes Person 5: No No No Person 6: Yes Yes No Person 7: No Yes No Person 8: Yes Yes No Person 9: Yes No Yes Person 10: Yes No Yes

Our Opinions: Vivian: I like the European feeling. If you go to another country you are accepted and welcomed. Paying with the same money is very handy. But I also would like to change money. That you can pass the border is also very helpful. You don’t have to show you’re passport. I like to go to different countries, every country is different.

Our opinion: Eline: I really like the way it is. Everyone’s the same. Everywhere you go, your always welcome. People are interested in where you come from. Your religion. Everywhere, in every country, you have so many cultures, I like that. Everywhere’s home. I like the European feeling the way it is now.

The End! This was our presentation about the European Feeling. I hope you understood. If you have questions, feel free to contact us. We hope you enjoyed! Greetings: Eline and Vivian, The Netherlands
