REBEL Responsible Business – European eLearning Module "Think different, make a difference"

The aims and objectives of the project are: To create “a sustainable network” which connects all the present contacts and networks of the partners To create learning modules promoting the sustainable way of thinking and learning, creating technology solutions and making business and which would be available for the network participants Adapting eLearning tools to create an open platform, which will be public and easily updated.

The contents consists of three components: Ethics and theory of sustainability –The main task is to generate a sustainable technology and business thinking challenging the conventional solutions of production and consumption. Responsible technology –The focus is on sustainable technology solutions now and in the future: material and energy efficiency, energy production based on renewable biomass as well as environmental protection techniques based on biological processes Responsible business: –The main contents are: how to incorporate responsible business into day-to-day business and how to make it a profit-making tool in the spirit of sustainability.

V. at the FHW Berlin) Technical University of Catalonia

Partners: Lahti Science and Business park Ltd (LSBP) –LSBP aims to develop the business of companies in the Lahti region, promote their internationalisation and create new business. Company is specialised in cleantech sector and will offer useful contacts to REBEL. LSBP helps the project to get useful contacts to the environmental enterprises. Kuusakoski Recycling Ltd. –Kuusakoski in an international recycling services company specialised in design, manufacture and delivery of recycling machinery and equipment for industrial customers. Company will offer practical cases to the REBEL. OILON –Oilon is specialized for environmental friendly solutions for energy production. Combustion of bio gases and bio ‑ oils are examples of the companys environmental lines of business. For REBEL company will provide expertise.
