Fourth Amendment The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Personal Information Computers make personal Information gathering easier Much easier!

Databases & Information Protecting the Many from the Few vs. Innocent until PROVEN guilty

Databases & Information Has 9/11 Changed how we feel about data being collected…. Airport searches No Fly list Profiling Passports to cross the border into Canada or Mexico

Privacy & Health Is medical/health information more sensitive than other information? WHY? If it is more private, is it better protected?

Privacy & Health Who pays for our health care? So who gets to say who can see our information?
