RSC Stormwater Management Mapping

Agenda  Located stormwater inlets and outfalls encompassing the immediate surroundings of A through N wings.  Measured dimensions of inlet grates.  Through campus map blueprints and direct observation, located where inlets drain to (some unknowns).  Indicated whether grates were bicycle safe, had standing water, and how much debris was visible. Some retro fitting needed to comply with floatable standards.

Agenda  Hand plotted points of inlets on rough copy of A through N wings.  Developed spreadsheet of findings.  GPS coordinates and GIS data currently pending.

Outfalls  Arts and Sciences building drains to wetlands below Lake Fred.  Wings A through E drain to 3 separate headwalls located on Lake Fred.  West Quad drains to adjacent wooded area on campus.  Insufficient data to determine exact locations of outfall between N and F wings: Some may drain to headwalls of A and E, many drain to wooded areas off Lake Dr., others may drain to additional headwall located near N wing.
