First of all I would like to thank Southeast Missouri State, last year’s National Council and all the delegations that attended this year’s National Convention in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, we all had a blast. To all of those whom were not able to attend let me fill you in a little about what we did. We held four business sessions where general business was discussed and voted on, committees met and made recommendations for the upcoming year, we participated in “Breakout Sessions” discussing recruitment, fundraising, and activities, and of course we voted for the National Council. In addition to all the business we also had a lot of fun. We participated in the Ag Olympics, the Ag Quiz Bowl, took tours of the Port Authority and Downtown Cape Girardeau, and had a very interesting speaker at the banquet, Mr. Walter Crawford, Jr., founder of World Bird Sanctuary. For all of those that did not get a chance to make it this year I hope you seriously consider joining us next year at A&M Commerce in Commerce, Texas. Now I would like to introduce to you the National Council.
