1.Sit with feet flat on the floor 2.Thigh is parallel to the floor 3.Operator’s back should be against the chair back 4.The eyes must be inches from the patient’s oral cavity 5.Shoulders should be relaxed and not elevated 6.The hands must be in level with the elbows

 Right handed = 10’o clock to 12:30 clock  Left handed = 2’o clock to 11:30 clock

 Patients are placed in supine positions with the top of the head at the upper edge of the headrest
