Activity 9  Get your projects out and a piece of paper for BOTH of you in your team. Write down both of your names.  The person closest to the door writes first.  Person who’s writing. Write your name and pick an object in your room. Then write a sentence describing where it is. Once you have done this say your sentence to your partner.  The first time don’t let them read it. If your partner gets it wrong repeat it one more time before letting them see. Review the vocab for placement.  Ex. La cama esta al lado del escritorio.  Once you get it right sit quietly and wait for the teacher to say switch! Then the roles are reversed.

Rooms!  You should have your rooms ready. Pass to the front and be prepared to present your dream room. Please hold out your room so that the whole class can see and describe it using the vocabulary. Below are some sample sentences.  Esta es mi __________(f). This is my _________.  Este es mi __________(m). This is my ________.  Everybody will have two minutes to present. If we have time left over then you may ask some questions about the wonderful room.

Plural (pg.110)  Plural you add an -s to words ending in vowels and an -es for words ending in a consonant.  Singular nouns that end in z change the z to c in the plural.  The plural definite articles are los and las. They mean “the”  Unos/unas mean some or a few.
