The origin TEST S.c.a r.l. is a consortium company with limited liability in charge of operating the Center of Competence for Transport Systems of the Campania Region (Italy). The Center of Competence was established in the course of a three year project co-financed with the European Structural Regional Funds through the Regional Operative Program 2000/2006, aimed at realizing a regional network of Research resources (laboratories and competences) intended to integrate the relevant research offer, enable the qualification of advanced transport systems and satisfy the innovation demand of the transportation industry. The main challenges addressed by the Centre of Competence are: the reduction of environmental pollution, the transport safety, the transport systems’ efficiency.
