How do I conjugate the passé composé? n The following equation may be used to help remember the order: subject + conjugation of + past avoir * participle avoir * participle ex: Tu as parlé ex: Tu as parlé (you have spoken) (you have spoken) *note: There are some verbs which use être instead of avoir, but we will learn more about these special verbs later…
