G The letter “g” has two possible pronunciations in Spanish 1)“g” followed by an “e” or an “i” is pronounced similar to the English “h” in “happy” (soft g) 2)“g” followed by any other letter is pronounced similar to the English “g” in “goal” or “gum” (hard g)

Soft g: “ge” and “gi” G followed by “e” or “i” sounds like the English “h” Examples: generalmente gitano agencia agitado
