Verbi riflessivi - Reflexive verbs A reflexive verb reflects the action of the verb back to the subject. The infinitive form of the reflexive ends with the reflexive pronoun “si”, as in the verb alzarsi _( get up ) The final “e” of the infinitive is dropped before adding the pronoun. Esempio: Lui si alza alle otto – he gets up himself at 8:00. The reflexive verbs are made of two parts; the verb and the reflexive pronoun. Both must agree with the subject.
