Grab-It Game Preterite –AR verbs
Divide into two even teams of 11. Each team member will have a number that matches someone on the opposite team. Sra. Baldwin will show an –AR verb on the board and a pronoun (EXAMPLE- HABLAR (YO)). She will then call out a number. If you have the # called, immediately stand up, go to the board, and hold up the appropriate verb ending. You may only take ONE ending A correct choice earns your team 1 point. The team with the most points receives 3 extra credit points. You may not touch the opposing team member or in any way interfere with their ability to select a verb ending, or your team loses the point. You may hurry but don’t run! No helping

Yo acampé I camped.
FACTURAR Él
Él facturó el equipaje. He checked his baggage.
TOMAR Mi familia y yo
Nosotros tomamos muchos fotos. We took a lot of photos.
VISITAR Ustedes
Ustedes visitaron el museo. You all visited the museum.
LLAMAR TúTú
Tú llamaste al aeropuerto. You called the airport.
PESCAR Usted
Usted pescó ayer. You (formal) fished yesterday.
ESTAR Juan y Pablo
Ellos estaron de vacaciones. They were on vacation.
ABORDAR Ana y Tú
Ustedes abordaron el avión. You all boarded the plane.
MANDAR Paco
Paco me mandó una tarjeta postal. Paco sent me a postcard.
MONTAR Mi hermana y Mi hermano.
Ellos montaron a caballo. They rode a horse.
PASAR Mi mamá
Ella pasó por la aduana. She went through customs.
