  I can write about an event in my past. Objetivo:

  We know we are talking about the present when we hear words like hoy (today), and ahora (now).  What words let us know that we are talking about the past? List as many as you can and write a sentence for each. Por ejemplo: Hace dos semanas, yo fui a Monterey. Para comenzar:

 Think of a particular time in the past that you would like to describe. It could be:  La semana pasada –  El verano pasado –  Ayer –  Anoche –  El fin de semana pasado –  Hace dos semanas -

 Think of a particular time in the past that you would like to describe. It could be:  La semana pasada –  El verano pasado –  Ayer –  Anoche –  El fin de semana pasado –  Hace dos semanas -  Last week  Last summer  Yesterday  Last night  Last weekend  Two weeks ago

  Write 8 sententeces about it. These sentences should be connected somehow, but don’t try to tell a sequential story. They should be stand-alone sentences about a certain day or time that you recall. Here are eight verbs to get you going. If you would like to use different ones, you are more than welcome to.
