GİZLİ – CLK Enerji İçi Smart Meter Pilot Project Details This is an R&D project that we have approval from EMRA and our consultant is DNV GL (formerly KEMA) for this project. Our Smart Metering Pilot project consists of several thousand smart meters from different vendors with PLC, RF and hybrid communication technologies. We will implement these meters in the 4 distribution networks considering different network topologies and climate conditions. The objective of this project is to install possible different technologies and testing interoperability, accuracy, communication, interference, robustness etc. issues under different network topologies and different climate conditions. The first phase of this project has started and IDIS meters will be implemented for this phase. For the second phase, we will implement PLC (G3, PRIME), RF and hybrid solutions and test the performance with the consultancy of DNV GL (formerly KEMA) and report to the EMRA. We will also implement an MDM system to analyze the incoming data, investigate issues and gather reports during this project. 3
