 According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, Pollution is: the action of polluting especially by environmental contamination with man- made waste; also : the condition of being polluted  webster.com/dictionary/pollution

 Human Activity  Municipal Wastewater and solid water  Land development  Material consumption  Gas Emissions  Garbage  Acid Rain  Chemicals

 There are two sources of water pollution that we have infested our water bottles with  Point Source Water Pollution  Non-Point Source Water Pollution  We will be discussing two sources of water pollution, but be aware that there are other types of water pollution ie. Invasive species, Noise pollution etc.

 Point source water pollution is an easily identifiable source, as in a specific pipe that can be identified

 Non-point source water pollution has its source over large areas, as in farm land, grazing lands, roadsides. (In other words you can’t see the poo coming out of a pipe.)

 What did we learn form this clip of the movie Finding Nemo?  Does this matter for us there in Regina – we are not close to any oceans  Are there any other ways that we in Regina are promoting Ocean pollution? How? (Recall the Water Cycle)
