INTRODUCTION Construction waste consists of unwanted material produced directly or incidentally by the construction. T here are many factors and solution to overcome construction waste. Objectives 1. Investigate the factors cause the construction waste 2. Determine the best way to overcome the waste problem

Research question 1. What are the factors that cause the construction waste? 2.What are the best way to overcome the construction waste problem?

Research Methodology UMP student(2 nd year only) 30 respondent 30 questionnaire

Result and Analysis Faniran and Caban, (1993) the five most significant sources of construction waste : design changes leftover material scraps wastes from packaging and non-reclaimable consumables, design/detailing errors poor weather.

Teo and Loosemore (2001) recommended that people’s behavior and attitudes plays important role in managing construction waste.

Zhao, Leeftink and Rotter (2009) recycle construction waste can contribute to a lot of benefits.
