Dinosaur Research Report By: Jason Check

Spinosaurus My dinosaur’s name is Spinosaurus. Its name means spiny lizard. The Spinosaurus lived during the Cretaceous Period.

Spinosaurus My dinosaur was 6 feet (1.8) feet high/long and weigh 4-5 tons. A Spinosaurus is a Carnivore. That means it only ate meat.

Spinosaurus My dinosaur looked very different from other dinosaur. It had 6 foot spines that formed a sail out of its back. It had sharp, straight, non-serrated teeth in powerful, crocodile-like jaws.

Spinosaurus One interesting fact about the Spinosaurus is the Spinosaurus was an advanced Theropod, whose intelligence can be measured by its relative brain to body weight, which was high among these dinosaurs.

Spinosaurus Spinosaurus was the first Spinosaur to be discovered. It had a long snout and straight, narrow teeth, similar to those of crocodiles. Like crocodiles, Spinosaurus had a varied diet. It probably ate fish as well as other dinosaurs. Spinosaurus was possibly the largest Theropod. It grew sails up its back, which made it seem even larger and it could breath under water.
