INTRODUCTION The wireless technology has brought a new meaning to electronics which makes the indirect connection between the controller and the equipment. Communication using RF is majorly used because RF transmission is strong, reliable and also used for long distance communication effectively. Motor control through RF communication is a very interesting application and is widely used in robotics, automation systems etc. The topic covers the way DC motors can be driven by using the controls from a distant place.

BLOCK DIAGRAM

RF MODULES RF module comprises of an RF Transmitter and an RF Receiver. The transmitter/receiver (Tx/Rx) pair operates at a frequency of 434 MHz. An RF transmitter receives serial data and transmits it wirelessly through RF through its antenna. The transmission occurs at the rate of 1Kbps – 10Kbps.

DC MOTOR DC motors are always preffered because of its speed, weight, size, cost... you can control the speed of motor, direction of rotation, also do encoding of the rotation made by DC motor interfacing to the driven IC. In the current project the motion of rover is controlled by these DC motors of 100RPM and operate for 9V of DC voltage.

PROGRAMMING TOOL ‘Top win’ is a software working as a user friendly interface for programmer boards from Sunrom Tech. It takes in compiled HEX file and loads it to the hardware. Any compiler can be used with it, Assembly or C, as all of them generate compiled HEX files. Baud Rate , COM x Automatically selected by window software.

After making the necessary selections, the ‘Burn’ button is clicked as shown below.

APPLICATIONS By placing different sensors for monitoring the surroundings and guiding the people at hazardous places. It can help us in monitoring various parameters like humidity, temperature, etc., Very importantly even it can be used in the identification of metals in the landmines. Also human detection at the risk places can also be done.

FUTURE SCOPE In the future, the project can be extended by having the rover with a material like camouflage which has a property of hiding itself. Adapting radars to this can guide the militants. The project can be further modified by placing a highly dense camera for accuracy and zooming. The manufacturing materials can changed as per the requirement.

CONCLUSION Now-a-days we are a lot depending on wireless dc motors for various applications. But we can still produce the better results in new applications, if we starts working in a different way.
