"Magical Tour to Water World" Working meeting in Poland

 Leisure time in aquatic environment - Croatia as a tourist destination Comenius activity no. 87 German class activities 6th graders and their German teacher have studied the Croatian Adriatic Sea underwater with the aim of presenting the beauty of Croatian underwater world and promoting it as an interesting diving destination. They have explored the sunken mysteries on the seabed of the island Vis based on the information they’ve found in the school library and searching the Internet. They have chosen some destinations and made leaflets/brochures about those places. They have learned how to write a postcard. In the end they have created digital online TRAVELLING postcards.  Photo competition 'Water Drop' Our students from 5th to 8th grade took photos of different water motifs in their spare time. Some of them have taken photos not only in near surrounding but also during family trips to sea (during the Easter holidays)... School photo club teacher has chosen the best photos.  Water and its importance in cultures, traditions, religions The Religion group students had an assignment to discover importance of water in culture, tradition and religion. The students have also discovered the importance of water in monotheistic religions: Christianity, Judaism and Islam. They’ve visited our parish church and interviewed our parson Ivan Vugrinčić to find out the ways of using water in catholic liturgy. The students presented the research results on a digital poster.  Water song competition. Water in music. Our Music teacher and 5th to 8th grade students have explored water in music. Students that are members of the school choir have found national and local songs (written on a local dialect) about water. They have learned to sing these songs and performed them together with the school tamburitza orchestra (led by our Music teacher as well) on the school show for the guests from other Comenius project countries (during the mobility in Croatia in March 2015).  'Postcard from the seaside' During the Art class 5th and 6th graders have made postcards from the seaside in coloured pen and tempera paint techniques. Art and German class activities Comenius activity no. 107 Later, they’ve glued their designs on cardboard paper and shaped freestanding postcards. In the end an exhibition of the best works was organized. During the German lessons 5th grade students have explored our national parks by the sea. They made postcards from these national parks (different techniques) and also they have learned how to write a postcard.
