Environmental Issues and Solutions in HK (Example) By: Brian Chen

Contents  Global environmental issues  Environmental issues in Hong Kong  Environmental issues in our daily lives  Possible Solutions

Current Global Environmental issues  Global Warming  Pollution  Overuse of resources

Issues in HK  Air quality in busy districts  Lack of space to dispose waste  An inefficient waste disposal system  Moderate levels of pollution

Daily issues and problems  Waste disposal systems can be improved  For example in Japan recycling is done in a more specific and efficient manner  Prevalent use of private vehicles  Fast pace of life gives people little time to think about conserving the environment

Possible solutions  Joint school paper/plastic/metal recycling scheme  All schools can get together and sign a contract with a single contractor  All schools set goals when it comes to the use of electricity and other resources

Note…  To students reading this sample powerpoint, please remember that all powerpoints should aim to contain your own view and be more detailed than this. (This is just a short powerpoint for the sake of providing an example)
