Economic Impact Report

Martin County Interagency Coalition Mission: Promote health and human services by providing a common meeting ground for members to network and share resources. Vision: We envision a collaborative group of members working together to coordinate services and advocate for community needs.

Project Objective To demonstrate the economic impact of nonprofit agencies in Martin County. Use this report as a benefit of membership in MCIAC. Encourage more organizations to join MCIAC.

Why Do This Report? Myth: Agencies often viewed as a drain. Agencies make too many requests for sponsorships, auction items, donations. Agencies spend too much on fund-raising. Reality: Agencies are an asset. Agencies get resources from a wide array of sources and spend the money wisely. Agencies pump money into the local economy and help people who struggle to help themselves.
