Introduction Traditional clothes around the world is different and have many kinds of clothes and it is related to their beliefs. Some is to wear it in festivals and celebrations and some we use it almost every time. In America the traditional clothes is made of animal for the native American and bandana fabric in western. The Chinese is made of wool. They all have different patterns and colors, shapes. Cultural element beliefs.

How do they use the traditional clothes Indonesian: for batik we use batik clothes with long pants. Kebaya is usually worn with sarong or batik kain panjang. American: in native American the men's wore breech outs or breechcloths with leather attached. Chinese: cheongsam came with matching jacket, mainly worn as formal wear occasions. Japanese: kimono is used with straight line robes collars and long wide sleeves and wrapped around the body. Korean: worn with simple lines and no pocket.

Indonesian traditional clothes Batik is a traditional clothes in Indonesia. It’s very popular, and not only in Indonesia but also in other country’s. Batik have many unique motifs. The best batik is handmade. It has higher quality and also more beautiful motifs. In Indonesia have many traditional clothes like batik, kebaya, songkat, peci, textiles. Kebaya is the national costume of Indonesia, although it is more accurately endemic to javanese, Sudanese, and Balinese people. It is made of silk and thin cotton. Kebaya usually worn with sarong or batik kain panjang, or other traditional woven such as ikat, songket with colorful motif. Example of how to respect them, we have to wear it and follow their ritual and value.

American traditional clothes In most tribes native Americans men wore breech outs or breechcloths. Sometimes with leather leggings attached in colder climates. In some tribes Indian clothing for men was a short kilt or fur trousers instead of a breechcloth. Most American Indian men did not use shirts, but plains Indian warriors wear special buckskin war shirts decorated with ermine tails , hair and intricate quill work and bead work. Western wear is a category of men’s and woman’s clothing which derives it’s unique style from the clothes worn in the 19th century American west. In the early days of the old west it was the bowler hat rather than the slouch hat , center crease ( derived from the army Hardee hat. A Western shirt is a traditional item of Western Wear characterized by a stylized yoke on the front and on the back. It is generally constructed with fabric with long sleeves, and in modern forms is sometimes seen with snap pockets, patches made from bandana fabric, and fringe. They also use leather jacket or raincoat jacket, the wild west trousers were made of wool in summer canvas it was sometimes used. They wear boots. Example of how to respect them is to follow their rituals and honor.

Chinese traditional clothes The cheongsam is a body hugging one piece Chinese dress for woman, the male version is the changshan. The stylish and often tight fitting. Cheongsam or changshan is best known today was created in the 1920’s in shanghai and made fashionable by socialities and upperclass women. Cheongsam is made of wool, twill and other materials. Most were tailor fited and often came with matching jacket. The dresses fusion of chinese tradition. Cheongsam were mainly worn as formal wear occations. Example of how to respect them is to wear it in important occation.

Japanese traditional clothes The kimono is a japanese traditional garment. The word kimono which means a thing to wear. Kimono are T shaped, straight lined robes worn so that the hem falls to ankle with attached collars and long, wide sleeves. Kimono are wrapped around the body, always with left side over the right and are generally worn with traditional footwear and split-toe socks. Today kimono are most often worn by women, and on special occations. Example how to respect them is to wear it appropriatly in some special occations

Korean Hanbok is the traditional korean dress. It is often characterized by vibrant colors and simple lines without pockets. Hanbok today often refers specifically to hanbok of chosen period and is worn as semi- formal or formal wear during traditional festivals and celebrations How to repect is by using this clothing in festivals and celebrations, also being polite.

My family In my family the traditional clothes is batik because we live in Indonesia. I use my batik for important places. My father also have a cowboy hat, I only use it when the day is very hot.
