 There are always two cornerbacks on the field.  A cornerbacks main objective is to guard the Wide receivers and stop them from catching passes.  The cornerbacks line up on the wide receiver which are the widest people on the field. Quiz Me! Quiz Me!

 There are always two safeties on the field.  A safety is the deepest player on the field from the football.  A safety main objects are to help corners out with the deep passes and the linebackers with the a run from the running backs. Quiz Me! Quiz Me!

 There are always 3 line backers on the field.  A line backers main objective is to stop the running backs and the quarterback from running the ball.  Linebackers line up in front of the safeties but behind the defensive linemen Quiz Me! Quiz Me!

 There are always two defensive ends on the field at all times.  A defensive ends job is to sack the quarter back and make sure nothing gets outside of them.  A defensive end line up in front of the line backers and right in front of the Offensive line men Quiz Me! Quiz Me!

 There are always two defensive tackles on the field.  A defensive tackles job is to clog everything up in the middle and make sure their linebackers don’t get hit.  A defensive tackle lines up the closest to the ball and they are usually the biggest guys on the field Quiz Me! Quiz Me!

 There are always two wide receivers on the field.  A wide receiver job is to get into open spots and catch the ball when the quarterback throws it to them. Quiz Me! Quiz Me!

 A quarterback is the most important player on the team he is the leader and more likely the leader on the team.  The quarterback main job is to hand the ball off to the running back and throw the ball to the wide receiver.  The quarterback also is the guy that calls the plays in the huddle.  The running back is the guy that stands behind the quarter back and behind the offensive lineman  The running backs main job is to run the ball and try and score touchdowns. Quiz Me! Quiz Me!

 There are always two offensive tackles on the field.  An offensive tackles job is to block for the running backs and the quarterback  The offensive linemen line up in front of the quarterbacks and in front of running back. Quiz Me! Quiz Me!

 There is only one center on the field at all times.  The center main job is to the ball to the quarter back by snapping it between his legs.  The center is the player that has the ball on the offensive line. Quiz Me! Quiz Me!

 There are always two offensive guards on the field.  A offensive guard job is to block the d line men and the linebacker. Quiz Me! Quiz Me!

 There are always 22 players on the field the defense has 11 and the Offense has 11.  You are aloud to run the ball or pass.  On 4 th down if you want you can punt(kick) the ball and give the ball to the other team. This helps if your backed up you can kick it and where it stops is where they begin.  The person with the ball is not declared down until his body his arms or knees hit the ground.  A football game is 60 minutes long that’s 15 minutes a quarter.  The team with the ball has 4 downs to try and get a first down or a touchdown.  A touchdown is equal to 6 points.  After a touchdown you can kick and extra point which is worth 1 point or try and score again which is worth 2.  If you are close enough and think you kicker can make the kick you can kick a field goal and its worth 3 points. Quiz Me! Quiz Me!
