Native Americans Standard Standard a. Locate where Native Americans settled with emphasis on the Arctic [Inuit],Northwest[Kwakiutl],Plateau[Nez Perce],Southwest[Hopi],Plains,[Pawnee],and Southeast[Seminole]. lily

The Inuit settled near Alaska, Canada, and Green Lands. Elizabeth They hunted seal, whale, caribou, and other animals. They made ice blocks to make a house called igloos. A fun fact is that there are few large trees!

Kwakiutl The Kwakiutl used this trap to catch fish. They lived in the Northwest along water. This is a picture of there homes lily Kwakiutl

Hopi This picture shows what the Hopi ate. The Hopi lived in Arizona. In this picture it has a the Hopi’s home called pueblos. They build them out of clay. This picture shows what the Hopi ate. Elizabeth Hopi

Nez-Perce The Nez-Perce lived on the Columbia Plateau between the Cascades and Rockies. Food In the spring they fish for Salmon, in the summer and fall they hunt and gather plants, in the winter they live off the extra food they had in spring, summer , and fall lily
