Colonial and Independence of the US

The United States used to be a colony of ___. People came here from all parts of the world but England was the main one. They came here to ___ and ___. The people in the colonies had freedom that people in England did not have. They had little interference and were more rich and spoiled than their full blood countrymen. Many groups of came here and made ___ types of government where people would be elected to pass on ideas. The Pilgrims came to North America and set up the ___ which was a plan for government. The people in the colonies also gave powers to different groups in society and made sure that each had their own job to perform. This became known as ___.
