1. Miroslava 'Mirka' Vavrinec Mirka would most likely be placed on Roger’s top friends because she is his girlfriend who is always at his tournaments supporting him.

2. Pete Sampras The reason why I believe that Pete Sampras would be on Federer’s top friends is because not only did Federer look up to him as a young tennis player but he now gets compared to Pete all the time. However both of them admire each other and Sampras is always giving Federer words of wisdom.

3. Pierre Paganini I think Federer would have Pierre on his top friends because in the year 2oo4 when he had no coach he depended on his fitness trainer, Pierre Paganini.

4. Lynette Federer Federer would definetely have his mother Lynette on his top friends because he has always been close to his mother and still relies on her a lot to this day.

5. Tiger Woods I think that Federer would have Tiger Woods on his top friends because they both respect each other and everything that each other has accomplished. They both strive to learn from each other, even in completely different sports.

1. Rafael Nadal Rafael Nadal is the biggest rival for Federer. Federer has never been able to take the French Open on clay over Nadal, and he just took over Federer’s #1 spot in the rankings.

2. Novak Djokovic Not only has Federer lost to Djokovic, but Federer gets sick of the way he “shows off,” Federer also does not get along with the Djokovic family because they interupted his matchinterupted his match. He is just a very arrogant person according to Federer.

John McEnroe Although Federer admired McEnroe while he was a player I believe that Federer would block him because he doesn’t think Federer can ever be as good as Pete Sampras was. Roger has a very determined attitude and hates it when people say that he can’t do something.

4. Boris Becker Boris Becker would be blocked on Roger’s phone because like McEnroe, Becker does not speak very highly of Federer’s skills. He says that today tennis players are not as strong both technically and psychologically than the top 10 in the past. Therefore I think Federer would not want to speak very often with Becker.

5. Tony Roche Roger would have former Australian tennis player Tony Roche blocked because he was his part-time coach. However Federer let him go because he believed that he was doing better on his own and did not need him. Since in the previous years he had been doing better.

1. Bridgette (Wilson) Sampras Pete would have his wife Bridgette on his top friends because well she is his wife and they talk a lot, especially with two boys!!

2. Roger Federer Pete would have Roger on his top friends because the two have been compared to one another quite a bit. But Roger enjoys getting advise from the retired Pete Sampras. Pete also admires the style that Roger plays.

3. Tim Henman Although Tim Henman was not as an excelled tennis player as Sampras. Sampras always said how he knew Henman and him would always remain friends because he was always kind and polite to him and they just had a “true friendship.”

4. Stella Sampras Pete would have his sister on his top friends because she not only grew up with him, but she also became a famous tennis coach with great strategy. Sampras and her were always close and still are to this day.

5. Andre Agassi Andre would be on Pete’s top friends today because Pete always admired the way Agassi played the game of tennis. There was something about him that always puzzled Agassi.

1. Patrick Rafter Pete would definetely have Patrick blocked on his phone because every time he hears his name it upsets him because he remembers that the US trophyPatrick has should have been his!

2. John McEnroe -I think that Sampras would have McEnroe blocked on his phone because he was always off throwing his racket, or drawing attention to himself on the court and Sampras was never a big fan of his attitude.

Tim Gullikson I think that Sampras would block one of his former coaches, Tim Gullikson because Sampras never really benefited a lot out of Gullikson’s program and got frustrated a lot.

Rafael Nadal Although Sampras never says much about Nadal I think that he would have him blocked off of his top friends because, in his opinion he thinks that Rafael is more of a “stuck- up” Spaniard instead of a polite tennis player.

5. Boris Becker I believe that Sampras would block Becker because he believes that retired tennis players should be encouraging new tennis players instead of criticizing every point by every player and Becker seems to look at the negative side instead of the positive. This always frustrated Sampras
