Communication - Physician  Provides continuous two-way communication (no voice switching) between physician in procedure room and control room operator  Allows control room operator to respond immediately to physician's requests  The Physician: Wears no device Speaks in normal tone Voice picked up by microphone mounted to monitor Hears control room technician through speaker mounted overhead in ceiling

Communication - Operator  Control room Operator can speak using a headset or desk microphone  When using headset, a foot switch must be depressed before speaking  When using desk mic, operator hears through speaker mounted overhead in ceiling  Communication speaker in control room can be turned off if desired  All adjustments made at console in control room

Music  Stereo integrated into console  Provides music playback in either or both rooms  Music can be from a variety of sources: Any device that can connect to USB or Aux-in (iPhone, iPod, iPad, Android, USB flash drive) Compact disc Radio (subject to strength/environmental shielding)  Independent volume adjustment for each room using fade

Optional Equipment MC-07 Remote Console  Allows additional headset and/or desk mic connection  Connects to 94A-07 console using Ethernet cable  Can be placed across control room or in separate room Wireless Headset  Can be used to replace corded headset or  Two can be connected in addition to corded headset allowing: Two-way communication between each other Two-way communication to corded headset Will not communicate with procedure room Call for details on optional equipment.

The Console Dimensions 8.5”x4.5”x8.5”

Installation  6 speakers total – 2 stereo and 1 communication for each room  Each speaker has two Ethernet connectors allowing them to be “daisy-chained” together using Ethernet cables  Each speaker is labeled and pre-configured for its location  Speakers secure through 6-9/16” hole in ceiling using integral dogs which swing into place

Typical Layout for Cath Lab

Design and Quality  Designed and assembled in USA  All units fully tested after assembly  cETLus Listing  CE Mark  Complies with applicable parts of: UL60065 CSA C22.2#60065 Low Voltage Directive of the European Union - CENELEC EN CB Scheme Report and Certificate - IEC FCC Verification for the United States - FCC 47CFR 15B clB Industry Canada (IC) Verification - ICES 003 EMC Directive for the European Union - CENELEC EN 55022, CENELEC EN 55024, IEC , IEC

Console Controls and Jacks Front Rear

Important Considerations  For optimal performance, monitor microphone must be attached to bezel of monitor across from physician with its long axis oriented vertically.  Monitor microphone will require a spare cable or a cable to be run through the monitor boom. This can be an ethernet cable or any 2 wire cable with a BNC or RCA connector.  If privacy is a concern, the headset should be used in control room and the overhead speaker turned off.  The foot switch must be pressed for speech to be transmitted through the headset.  If a foot switch is not connected, the headset mic will be constantly “live”.

Terminology  Desk Mic: Gooseneck microphone for control room.  Monitor Mic: Array of microphones in a13” long by ½” cross section tube. Mounts using high strength Velcro to bezel of monitor in control room.  Foot Switch: Sustain peddle used with headset. Allows transmission of speech when depressed.  Communication Speaker: Speaker in either control room or procedure room that transmits speech.  Aux-In: 3.5mm jack on stereo that can be used for connecting music playback devices.  USB Input: USB jack on stereo that allows connection of music storage devices.
