Boot up meter… start/reset Press the start/reset key for at least 2 seconds to boot up the meter. And enter to the main menu. Main menu

Measurement setting… Leftright enter Left and right keys to move the cursor to ‘Setup’, then press enter to go to setup page. Setup menu Leftright up down Left and right keys to move cursor to ‘Mea. time’, then press up and down keys to change the number. Recommend to use 20min for 24 hrs measurement. (Which means it only measurement 20 min for every hour). Recommend to use A, F weighted for 24hours measurement.

Calibration check before test Esc enter Press Esc to go back to main menu, and move the cursor to ‘Meas.’, press enter to go to interface of measurement. Left / right up/down Left / right keys to move the cursor, and up/down keys to change the setting mode. For calibration check, the setting should be ‘NOIS, ONE, LIST, INST’.

Put on the calibrator and turn it on. Notes: keep the meter and calibrator connected tightly and solidly. Measurement interface After you turn on the calibrator, the LAFp should be 93.8±0.2 dB. Left/right up/down Left/right keys move cursor to 4 th index ‘Page’, then you can press up/down keys to turn the page to observe more measurement. Left/right Left/right keys can also move cursor ‘<>’ turn you can roll the page horizontally.

Testing (cont.)… Left/right up/down Left/right keys move cursor to 3 rd index, then you can press up/down keys to see the graph show of data. Notes: because the sample meter only make one hour measurement, there is only one dB-bar shown. Though, after you finished 24 hrs test, you should see the all 24 dB-bars. esc After finishing test, press esc key to go back to main menu, and move cursor to ‘Data’, then you can recall the saved test-data.
