Our Lord Speak of His Mercy to St. Faustina “Let all mankind recognize My unfathomable mercy, it is the sign of the end times; after it, the just day will arrive. While there is time let all have recourse to the fount of My mercy, let them profit from the blood and water which gushed forth for them. Before I come as a Just Judge I first open wide the door of My mercy. He who refuses to pass through the door of My mercy will have to pass through the door of My ( Vindictive) justice. The Divine Mercy

The soul that will go to confession and receive Holy Communion on the feast ( Sunday after Easter – after 9 days novena which starts on Good Friday ) shall obtain COMPLETE forgiveness of sins and punishment… Let no soul fear to draw near to Me, even though its sins be as scarlet.

When you go to confession, know this, that I Myself am waiting for you in the confessional; I am only hidden by the priest, but I myself act in the soul. Here the misery of the soul meets the God of Mercy. Tell souls that from this fount of mercy souls draw graces solely with the vessel of trust. If there is great trust, there is no limit to My generosity.

… I promise that the soul that will venerate this image will not perish, I also promise victory over its enemies already here on earth especially at the hour of death. I myself will defend it as My own glory… I am offering people a vessel with which they are to keep coming for graces to the fountain of mercy. That vessel is this image with the inscription : Jesus, I trust in You… I desire that this image be venerated first in your chapel and then through out the world

The two rays denote Blood and water – the pale ray stands for the Water which makes souls righteous ; the red rays stands for the Blood which in the life of souls. These two rays issued forth from the depth of My most tender mercy when My agonizing heart was opened by a lance in the cross… Happy is the one who will dwell in their shelter, for the just hand of God shall not lay hold of him. JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU

Novena to the Divine Mercy Jesus asked that the Feast of the Divine Mercy be preceded by a Novena to the Divine Mercy which would begin on Good Friday. He gave St. Faustina an intention to pray for on each day of the Novena, saving for the last day the most difficult intention of all,

He said: “the lukewarm and indifferent souls cause Me more suffering than any others; it was from such souls that My soul felt the most revulsion in the Garden of Olives. It was on their account that I said: 'My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass Me by.' The last hope of salvation for them is to flee to My Mercy

St. Faustina wrote that Jesus told her: "On each day of the novena you will bring to My heart a different group of souls... On each day you will beg My Father, on the strength of My passion, for the graces for these souls." and you will immerse them in this ocean of My mercy

Souls who spread the honor of My Mercy, I shield their entire life as a tender mother her infant and at the hour of death I will not be a Judge for them but the Merciful Savior Tell My priest that hardened sinners will crumble beneath their words when they will speak about My unfathomable mercy, about the compassion I have for them in My heart. To priests who will proclaim and extol My mercy I will give wonderful power, I will anoint their words I will touch the hearts to which they will speak. Jesus promised that:

St. Faustina wrote that Jesus told her: “I desire that during these nine days you bring souls to the fount of My Mercy, that they may draw there from strength and refreshment and whatever grace they have need of in the hardship of life and specially at the hour of death. MISAMIS ORIENTAL, PHILIPPINES

The Essence of the Devotion is Trust No soul will be justified unless it turns with confidence to My Mercy. Let the greatest sinners place their trust in My Mercy. They have the right before others to confidence in the abyss of My Mercy. Graces are drawn from ( the fount of My Mercy with one vessel only, and that is trust.

The more a soul trusts, the more it will receive. I make myself dependent upon your trust; if you trust will be great, then my generosity will know no limits. Sins of distrust wounds Me most painfully.

“I remind you, that as often as you hear the clock strike the third hour, immerse yourself completely in My mercy, adoring and glorifying it; invoke its omnipotence for the whole world, and particularly poor sinners, for at that moment it was opened wide for every soul. In this hour you can obtain everything for yourself and for others for the asking; it was the hour of grace for the whole world – Mercy triumphed over justice

You expired Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls and the Ocean of Mercy opened up for the whole world. O fount of life, unfathomable, Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty yourself out upon us. O blood and water which gushed forth from the heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us, I trust in you. Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, Have mercy on us and of the whole world - 3x Jesus, King of Mercy, we trust in You.

Comfort the sorrowful 5. Be patient with those in error. 6. Forgive offences

Jesus said: “ Pray as much as you can for the dying. By your entreaties, obtain for them trust in my mercy, because they have most need of trust, and have it the least. Mercy for the Dying Be assured that the grace of eternal salvation for cartain souls in their final moments depends on your prayer.” Pray the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy to aid the dying. One of the greatest works of mercy we can perform and one often overlooked is to pray for the dying.

“God’s mercy sometimes touches the sinners at the last moment In a wondrous and mysterious way. Outwardly, it seems as if everything were lost, but it is not so. The soul, illumined by a ray of God’s powerful final grace, turns to God in the last moment with such a power of love that, in an instant, it receives from God forgiveness of sin and punishment …”

Another great work of mercy is to pray for the dead.“ All who dies in God’s grace and friendship, but still imperfectly purified, are indeed assured of their eternal salvation; but after death they undergo purification, so as to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven”. Mercy for the Dead (Pray The Chaplet of the Divine Mercy for the souls in purgatory )

Jesus Himself encouraged St. Faustina to remember the souls in purgatory. He told her: “Enter into purgatory often, because souls need you there.” One time St. Faustina saw in a vision the souls suffering in purgatory, and she saw their great need for our assistance.

Preparing for the Second Coming “Speak to the world about My mercy… It is a sign for the end times; after it will come the Day of Justice. You will prepare the world for my final coming. Tell souls about this great mercy of Mine, because the awful day, the day of My justice, is near”

Repeatedly the Lord tells St. Faustina that He is offering sinners the “last hope of salvation”. No matter how great our sins, He wants us to come back to Him, but we must respond now, while it is still the time of mercy.

Jesus told St. Faustina, “Before the Day of Justice, I am sending the Day of Mercy. I am prolonging the time of mercy for the sake of sinners. But woe to them if they do not recognize this time of My visitation. While there is time, let them have recourse to the fount of My mercy. He who refuse to pass through the door of My mercy must pass through the door of My justice”

Our Lady, too, speaks to St. Faustina about the urgency of the message of mercy: “ you have to speak to the world about His great mercy and prepare the world for the Second Coming of Him who will come, not as a merciful Savior, but as a just judge. Oh how terrible is that day! Determined is the day of justice, the day of divine wrath. The angels tremble before it. Speak to souls about this great mercy while it is still the time for granting mercy”

Jesus, King of Mercy, we trust in You. It is our responsibility to spread and send the good news to the people we love and care. Jesus and Mother Mary, we love you!
