Local elementary school located in Orange, Virginia
I had the privilege to go to the local public elementary school in Orange County, Virginia and assist teachers I would start out by helping different students with their words to know for the week and then help with understanding words and meanings in the students reading books. I would also help out the teachers in any way whether that meant helping organize for next class or grade assignments. Worked with 3 rd and 4 th graders
I also worked a book club through my senior year. The book club was with the local private school.
For book club I led talks about the different books I would sponsor. The students would have two to four weeks to read as many books as they wanted We would then meet up over lunch and have discussions about the books. The books ranged in genre from fantasy, graphic novels, and adventure books. Book Club
