Accept call Identify caller’s relationship to student of concern Identify services being received Take statements on issue of concern Inquiry of school contact made prior to the call Discussion of Incident Inquiry of desired outcome Routing/or Re-routing of Call  Make referral to principal (teacher, bus drivers, or another student)  Make referral to Academic Officers  Make referral to Appropriate District Personnel responsible for services that are of concern Preparation for mediation conference  Principal provides brief overview and documentation for position on issue  Invite necessary district personnel, if relevant. Upon Receiving the Initial Call...

Goal is for everyone to walk away with a plan for MOVING FORWARD even if consensus of the concern is not obtained by all parties.
