How To Write a Book Dedication STEP #1 Pick the right person or persons to your book dedication. Think of the important people in your life and the impact they had had in you life and school career. Choose one or two to dedícate your school book to, it can be a family member, a close friend or teacher. STEP #2 Decide how to you will identify them. In an informal or formal way. Formal: Ms. Mónica Montfort Informal: Chinos Rodríguez, Jimbo Smith. In between: Mom and Dad, My good friend Elisa.

How To Write a Book Dedication STEP #3 Explain your reasoning for your book dedication. For example: To my wonderful sister and friend Ana-who always helps me with my homework, daywork, listens, cares and supports me no matter what. STEP #4 Address the Dedication.
