Personality The word personality itself stems from the Latin word persona. It refers to a theatrical mask work by performers in order to either project different roles or disguise their identities. A brief definition would be that personality is made up of the characteristic patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviors that make a person unique.

Why is personality important Knowing your personality type allows to identify what you may be good and send you towards a career path There are numerous types of personality tests– the major ones are: Myers-Briggs True colours Holland test

Myers-Briggs + True Colours compared Created by mother/daughter team Highlights your strengths of preferences and the description of your personality type Gives you a 4 letter code Code matches specific job titles Companies use it to see if applicants are the “perfect match” Very long
